Hi there,
We've been really busy at the moment with our latest exhibition 'i am at the queens'. Go along and have a peek when you are free to see our latest work in the relaxing atmosphere of the Queens Theatre foyer. It's a great place to meet friends for lunch, food is very tasty, or to have a drink in the evening. On Sunday lunch times they even have a jazz session for a very chilled Sunday afternoon!

Hi is there anyone out there ……..
This is a new and terrifying adventure for me as I am dyslexic so please forgive me for any mistakes I make on this blog.
I live in Romford which is a very convenient location as it is about ½ an hour from London, and all the wonderful museums, an hour from the beach and also really close to the country. I have been married for 31 years and we have a son and 2 daughters together.
I am a textile teacher and teach City and Guilds at Havering Adult College and Waltham Forest. I also do independent teaching with my designer daughter, Kirsten, watch this space for classes coming later this year.
We both belong to E17 Designers and take part in their craft markets around Walthamstow along with other artists and crafty people.
I have just come back from France after spending the whole of the summer there and after this weather I wish I were still there!
We spent a few weeks at the beach and then a few weeks inland at a beautiful rustic farm house in the country.
I love France and lazy days at the beach swimming in the sea and eating fresh seafood in little beach restaurants. The country offers a different feel wherever you go with lakes and fields of beautiful sunflowers, my favourite flower. We try to get over there at any possible time and managed to go to Paris in the1/2 term. Although we have been to Paris many times we tried visiting places that we had not been before such as the Montmatre area which was great as when we turned up there was a flea market going on selling lots of old crafty bits such as printing blocks.
At the moment I am working on William Morris as I am going to do a workshop after Christmas at the William Morris gallery with the theme inspired by William Morris
So I am looking at the wonderful designs that will lead me into my printing on fabric with hand and machine stitching. Watch this space for working progress!

getting started....
hi there, i am Kirsten and along with Sharon we make up 'I am inspired', looking to promote inspiration through workshops and create unique art work.
we've both been displaying work for a few years now but have joined our creative forces to exploit the best of both talents. mixing my 2D skills of drawing and painting with sharon's in-human ability to create anything 3D.
at the moment we've just finished displaying at the Vestry House Museum in Walthamstow as part of the E17 Art Trail, which was a great success, thanks to the glorious weather on Saturday it was a lovely day and the whole village had a great atmosphere, so thanks to everyone who came along.
we're looking into displaying at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow - so keep your eyes peeled to see us there.
in the meantime check out our website: www.iaminspired.co.uk for more info
